About Me

There is freedom waiting for you,

On the breezes of the sky,

And you ask, “What if I fall?”

“Oh but my darling, what if you fly”

This is tattooed on my arm. To me, this means that you can and in some cases, need to take chances in your life, and what better time than now in this last act of your life. But what if I fail you ask. But what if you succeed, what if you fly and do really well and this is exactly what you needed to get on the right road to happiness. And what if you love it, and all is well and you live happily ever after.

Let me introduce myself. I am Cheryl Anne Warren; hometown, Calgary, Canada. My cup is always half full, never half empty. I love to have fun, to laugh and I strongly believe that everyone has the ability to choose how they want to be.

If you are looking for inspiration, how and where to find your passion, follow your dreams, invent new ones, love life and live your best life ever, then you have come to the right place.

I am a wife, a sister, a daughter and a friend. There are many things I am passionate about—first, my wonderful husband, and my family and friends. Travel is also a big passion; my favorite places at the moment are anywhere in France; London; and any place the sky is blue and the water warm.

A couple of years ago I attended a short seminar called Retire Happy.” My lightbulb moment came when the speaker told us it isn’t necessarily all about the money; but what are you going to do with yourself when you retire from your regular nine to five job. Do you have a plan? One can only relax for so long before boredom takes over, and then depression sets in, and then what. This got me thinking about my plans. What do I do?

After some deep contemplation and some help from my dear husband, I came to a couple of realizations about myself. I like learning and taking on new challenges and I do have a creative right brain. What can I do? So I started this blog. I love to tell people about my travels and share my photography, and I always have an opinion or two to share. Now when people ask me what I’m doing I tell them I am in the process of re-inventing myself; one day at a time, one foot in front of the other.
